5/2/2024 0 Comments Scp overlord explained![]() Milton, who doesn’t seem to be particularly interested in this conversation, says that he shouldn’t take it the wrong way, but he might want to consider transferring off the project, or at least taking a break. It could be something else entirely… and then he cuts himself off, says that he’s just tired and stressed, and he’d better go. Blake says that he does know that, but shouldn’t there be more than this? Looking at what happened today, they have no idea what caused the reaction. They’re starting to really understand how ‘gods’ interact with humanity, and if Blake’s serious about studying theology, then he needs to know that this is what it really is. Even if he didn’t know that before, that’s what’s been happening the whole time. Milton just says that it was always the case. ![]() And as a result, gods don’t seem like gods anymore- it’s like what Milton said before, they’re just anomalies. They built a machine to kill gods, and it works. But then he joined the Foundation, and it broke his faith: he saw that yes, gods are real, but they’re fallible, they’re killable, they’re not omnipotent or invincible. He says that he wasn’t rapt on the specific doctrine, but he was convinced that there was a deity out there, watching over humanity. Milton says she thought she’d read something about that on his CV, and Blake says that at that time, he was convinced that it was his purpose in life- to spread the Word. ![]() There’s an awkward silence, and then Blake asks if he ever told her that he used to be a pastor. Milton says that she probably could have handled it more tactfully as well, and it’s understandable that everything that’s happened has got them a bit freaked out. As a result, he ignored both the project scope as a whole and the people working on it. He says he wants to apologise for what happened in the meeting- he says he knows he got a bit hot-headed, and he got caught up in his own reaction to the news. I’ll sum it up for you.īlake abruptly drops into Milton’s room and asks if she has a moment, which she does. The next addendum is a transcript taken from security footage of a conversation that took place in Milton’s quarters. (I kind of feel like I should apologise to Lucy Dacus for that reference, given the context I'm using it in.) Part Two: Hands Above Our Heads, Reaching For God Or to say it in non SCP terms, this series really does a good job at "show don't tell" and letting people speculate.Hi, welcome to part two of the SCP-6659 declass. While the Camera appears to be an SCP all of its own, being able to reveal both the Overlords form, and its followers, but, if we're to believe the mirror in the basement, or whatever was infront of it, is the overlord (which I think personally it is), directly seeing the overlord either drives whoever is using the camera mad, or it allows the overlord to influence them far easier. While Overlord is seemingly a Keter class or Apollyon class SCP, a massive creature invisible to the human eye, directly influencing people within is vicinity (possibly those with weak enough minds), with it also giving anomalous properties to followers, with the people suspended in the air by its tendrils being the invisible entities, protecting the larger creature. It would probably be a Keneq or ehki disruption class as well, affecting whatever space it inhabits, meaning it would be hard to contain given how severe its influence was shown to be. Coming back to this entire series both the animated and Live action, I have to say, "Overlord" and "Dollhouse" are really fitting names for the two live action SCPs, given what we're shown.ĭollhouse is a non-Euclidian space that directly affects both people and objects inside of it, moving them around and seemingly opening the space up at random, all originating from the laptop the MTF squad found, allowing whoever is at the laptop to, like a child, interact with everyone and everything inside, like dolls.
